Worship Styles

What’s the difference between the worship services?

The worship service at 8:30 is our most traditional service. The SonRise Choir sings, the Bell Choir plays once a month, and the service includes hymns, responsive readings, organ music, and recitation of our common prayers and creeds.

The worship experience at 11:00 is our most contemporary. A praise team leads worship with drums, guitars, piano, and praise singing. O ur children’s choirs sing twice a month. There is more music at this service and more visual media.

Pastor Richard Mortimer brings the same message at each service. Our goal is the same for each service—to focus on commitment, faith, discipleship, and service. Although each worship experience is designed a little differently in style, the substance is the same. We exist to introduce people to Jesus Christ, to disciple believers, and to deliver real help to a hurting world.
