Mission has
always been a priority for this congregation. Currently 15% of
all regular offerings are committed to mission through the
Mission Ministry team. There are many opportunities to become
involved in the mission work of our congregation. The annual
West Virginia work trip to Cabwaylingo Presbyterian Chapel is a
highlight of the summer for many folks. This group repairs homes
for those in need in Appalachia. The youth groups and adult
advisors participate in a work trip each summer, also serving
with home repairs. A second mission trip is scheduled for
September of 2005 to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South
Dakota. From time to time there are various groups involved in
mission work in the church. Youth groups also do special
services at adult foster care homes.
Sunday school classes do special
projects for missionaries abroad. Various groups have served at
the community meal at the Salvation Army in Adrian. Pastor
Richard or Tim Wilson would be happy to talk with you about ways
you can become involved in the mission work of this
congregation.
