Children Ministries
The following classes for
children and youth meet from 9:30 to 10:45 each Sunday morning.

Linda Knape, Sunday School Superintendent for
information or direction to appropriate rooms.
Nursery-
Up to 3 years of age.
Pre-School Class-
3 and 4 year olds; classroom located off the gathering area
on the first floor.
Kindergarten-6th
Grade; classes are located in the
lower level.
Jr. High Class- 7th-8th
Grade; meets in the Jr. High room
off the gathering area on the first floor.
Senior High Class- 9th-12th
Grade; meets
in the basement youth room under the sanctuary.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir provides opportunities for kindergarten
through fifth grade students to lead worship on a regular basis
through singing and playing the hand bells. The choir
practices on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:00 pm during the
school year. Everyone is welcome to bring friends!
Vacation
Bible School Each
summer we take an exciting journey through God’s Word while we
play games, sing songs, make a craft, and meet new people during
Vacation Bible School! All
children from the church and community are invited to attend! To
volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School or to register your
child, call the church
office (423-3470). Son Rock Kids Camp VBS will be held
August 17th - 21st, 2009 from 9:30 - noon.
MOPS: Because Mothering Matters
Mothers of Pre-Schoolers seeks to encourage,
assist and nurture moms for the important task of parenting the
young child. MOPS currently meets Tuesday mornings twice a
month and Tuesday evenings once a month October through May.
MOPS provides childcare for ages birth to five years while Moms
get the opportunity to share a meal, listen to guest speakers,
participate in a craft and spend two hours with adult company.
