Children Ministries
The following classes for
children and youth meet from 9:30 to 10:45 each Sunday morning.
See
Linda Knape, Sunday School Superintendent for
information or direction to appropriate rooms.
Nursery-
Up to 3 years of age.
Pre-School Class-
3 and 4 year olds; classroom located off the gathering area
on the first floor.
Kindergarten-6th
Grade; classes are located in the
lower level.
Jr. High Class- 7th-8th
Grade; meets in the Jr. High room
off the gathering area on the first floor.
Senior High Class- 9th-12th
Grade; meets
in the basement youth room under the sanctuary.
Kids World
Kid’s World is a program that partners with the Cherub and
Chapel choirs to provide a midweek reminder of God’s love to
children ages 4 years through 5th grade. At 6:15 each
Wednesday night, everyone meets in the lower level for a few
minutes of coloring and chatting about school and God. Then at
6:30 the Chaple choir will adjourn to the choir room to sing
with Mrs. Minks and Mrs. Roberts while the Cherub choir learns
about God’s Word. At 7:00 the groups switch, and the evening
ends at 7:30. In Kid’s World we have fun! We hear stories from
the Bible, and then do fun crafts and play games that teach us
about God’s love. Everyone is welcome to bring friends!
Vacation
Bible School Each
June we take an exciting journey through God’s Word while we
play games, sing songs, make a craft, and meet new people during
Vacation Bible School! All
children from the church and community are invited to attend! To
volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School or to register your
child, call Julie Schiller (423-9592) or the church
office (423-3470).
