CONGREGATIONAL MEETING -
A congregational meeting will be held on Sunday,
May 18th after the 11 am worship service for the purpose of
electing new church officers.
FIESTA TACO DINNER!!!!
This
Saturday, May 10
the Senior High youth group will be hosting a
“Fiesta Taco Dinner”
at 6pm in Knox Hall.
We will be featuring Tom Barton’s famous taco’s, music and other
surprises. Plan on being there. Sign up on the bulleting
board.
ALUMNI CHOIR -
If you have ever sang in the choir, you are
invited to join the Alumni Choir and sing for the graduates on
May 25th. Contact Ben for rehearsal dates.
WHY
LAY MINISTRY? - Stephen Ministry is based on the idea that
all Christians are ministers. The responsibility for
passing on God's love is for all Christians, not just for a
chosen few. God has give us all gifts for ministry and
called us to put those gifts to use. Stephen Ministry is a
place where people with special gifts for caring ministry can
use those gifts to bring Christ's love to people in need.
To share more about Stephen Ministry, Pastor Richard, Val
McLerran and Linda Wise will lead a combined adult class next
Sunday, May 18th at 9:30 am in Knox Hall.
GOLF “FORE” LIFE -
The Care Pregnancy Center of Lenawee is hosting a
golf outing on Sat. May 17th at 8 am at Raisin Valley Golf

QUIET PRAYER HOUR
- Are you looking for a quiet place to spend some
time with God? The Sanctuary has been reserved for you on
Wednesday evenings between 6 - 7 pm. This is nothing formal
just some quiet time for prayer and reflection. God is always
there and he has been asking about YOU!
